West Vancouver Staircase Refurbish
A West Vancouver home owner was looking for something special to finalize their home renovation project. They wanted something modern and light to complement the house’s flooring and furniture. The existing staircase had originally been closed off with a short pony wall. This was was removed, so that the staircase could be open on the side, which creates an airy, welcoming feel.
An oval profiled white oak railing was selected, along with white round spindles, which were powder coated for durability. Solid oak stair treads were stained to an exact match with the hardwood floors. The clear coats are Loba Invisible Protect 2K, a commercial grade water borne finish which will give the stairs excellent durability and grip.
